Lagree Fitness Classes at Lagree South Lake

The Lagree Method is a highly effective workout offered at our fitness studio, designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone muscles with maximum efficiency and minimal impact. It targets the muscles intensely while remaining gentle on the joints, connective tissue, and spine.

Expect to shake, sweat, and feel the burn—Lagree is challenging on the muscles but safe and sustainable for the body. Each workout combines proven strength-training movements like planks, lunges, squats, and push-ups with signature Lagree exercises such as Super Lunge, Catfish, and Scrambled Eggs.

Built around ten core principles known as the Magic 10, every class at our South Lake Tahoe fitness studio varies in intensity to continually challenge the body and drive real physical transformation through positive adaptation.

Brooke Racan

Brooke is the owner and founder of her fitness studio, Lagree South Lake, and a Level 1 Lagree Instructor, turning a longtime dream of owning her own studio into reality.

She was first introduced to the Lagree Method back in 2016, and it quickly became more than just a workout—it became a passion. With nearly 1,000 Lagree classes under her belt, Brooke brings both experience and heart to every class she teaches.

Known for her calm, melodic teaching style, Brooke has a way of keeping you completely locked into your workout while pushing your muscles to their absolute limit. Expect to feel challenged, focused, and fully worked—in the best way possible—throughout her signature 45-minute burn in beautiful South Lake Tahoe.

Taylor Jackson

Born and raised in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, Taylor has always embraced an active lifestyle—from summer sports and winter sports to yoga and, of course, Lagree. After discovering the Lagree Method during her years living in Oceanside, CA, she quickly fell in love with its unique blend of strength, endurance, and mind-body connection.

Now back in her hometown, Taylor is thrilled to share her passion as a Lagree instructor at Lagree South Lake. Her classes are full of energy, encouragement, and genuine support, inspiring clients to challenge themselves while having fun along the way. Expect a motivating, full-body burn that leaves you feeling stronger, balanced, and empowered from start to finish.

Peyton Moreau

Peyton is a certified Level 1 Lagree instructor and Mat Pilates instructor. She discovered Pilates as a young teenager while training pre-professionally in ballet, where it became an essential tool for building strength, preventing injury, and continuing to progress. Her classical Pilates education built a deep understanding of body mechanics, alignment, and control, something she now brings directly into her Lagree classes.

Now living in South Lake, Peyton spends her time rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountain biking, often with her two dogs by her side. Lagree keeps her strong and resilient for the sports she loves, while her Pilates foundation allows her to coach with precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safe, intentional movement.

Michele Riefenberg

Originally from Chicago, Michele has always had a deep passion for the outdoors, which brought her to Denver and then ultimately to Stateline, NV, where she currently resides. After years of taking Lagree classes in Denver, Michele’s enthusiasm for the method inspired her to become a certified Lagree instructor.

What Michele loves most about teaching Lagree is guiding each person toward their personal fitness goals - whether that’s building strength, boosting endurance, improving posture, or just finding joy in movement. Her classes are energizing and challenging, and designed for all levels, with modifications and cues to help you progress safely and confidently.

When she’s not teaching, Michele can be found enjoying one of her many outdoor activities, including skiing, running, climbing, hiking, and horseback riding.

Alicia Choquette

Alicia was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and is grateful to be back in her hometown raising her two girls. Her love for Lagree began over a decade ago while living in San Diego, where she quickly fell in love with the method — not only for the powerful, transformative results, but for the strong sense of community it creates. When she moved back to Tahoe and realized there wasn’t a Lagree studio nearby, she purchased a micro machine so she could continue practicing at home. Being back in a studio setting now feels like a full-circle moment.

Although teaching was never originally on her bucket list, Alicia felt called to share her passion for Lagree with others. She previously taught hot barre and sculpt in San Diego and brings that same energy, encouragement, and attention to form into every class she leads. When she’s not teaching, Alicia works as a physician assistant at a busy aesthetic med spa and spends her free time skiing and soaking up everything Tahoe has to offer with her husband and two daughters.

Jessica Allman

Jess grew up between Laguna Beach and the Bay Area before landing in Tahoe. Growing up in places that pull you outside shaped her love for movement early on, and over the years she has found her way through just about every form of fitness there is. A lifelong athlete always chasing a good challenge, she discovered Lagree in the Bay Area and never looked back - the method was different, demanding, and addicting in the best way, and teaching it felt like the obvious next step.

In the studio, Jess is focused on creating an environment that is fun, challenging, and welcoming for every fitness level whether it's your first class or your hundredth. Outside of the studio, you can find her on the lake, in the backcountry, knee-deep in a DIY project, or researching the latest in skincare. She is beyond excited to be part of your fitness journey here at Lagree South Lake.

Carolyn Ebzery

Hi, I’m Carolyn! I was obsessed with Lagree before moving to Tahoe and am so excited to be teaching here. With 10+ years of teaching yoga and more as a student, I am passionate about anything that helps me ground into my body. One reason why I love Lagree is for its immediate intensity that smacks my awareness to my core center - the third chakra responsible for confidence! During class, I will help you find your alignment, with your heart lifted and spine long, so you leave with more presence and stronger than ever.
